Dear Community Members,
You are invited to join artist Xavier Cortada this Wednesday, February 5 th at 7pm as Cortada Projects and Underwater HOA celebrate the start of 2020 by returning to the Hibiscus Gallery at Pinecrest Gardens for our monthly Underwater HOA meetings.
In the spirit of planning for the future, we will have a round table discussion led by Cortada, and a presentation on possible ideas for the Underwater HOA Toolkit, an initiative to provide a blueprint for South Florida homeowners, renters, and community members to come together to learn how to form Underwater HOA chapters within their own homeowner groups, neighborhood associations and communities.
You will also have an opportunity to take part in an artistic expression of your own by using repurposed materials to create a sign with your home’s elevation to place in your front yard, signaling to your neighbors that they, too, must understand and prepare for the impact of sea-level rise on South Florida.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday as we continue to provide a platform for working together and learning together as we plan for a future impacted by sea-level rise.
