Dear Friend,
Cortada Projects is excited to be bringing the Underwater HOA to an online platform where it will provide a space for the community to come together, reflect on our collective situation, and work together for a brighter future.
Indeed, this first online meeting will explore our shared vulnerability as a community. The pandemic has exposed how unprepared we were in responding to threats we knew existed. Are there any lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic that better prepare us to face both future pandemics and future rising seas? We know both are coming.
Presented in part through my Miami Corona Project, this meeting will be included in a “Conversations” series where I host a discussion with members of the community about the local impact of COVID-19. This online meeting will be recorded and then featured on the “MCP Conversations” webpage found here.
