Xavier Cortada has been commissioned to create art for the White House, the World Bank, the Florida Supreme Court, the Florida Governor's Mansion, Miami City Hall, Miami-Dade County Hall, the Miami Art Museum, the Museum of Florida History and the South Pole Station.
The Miami artist has worked with groups across the world to produce numerous large-scale collaborative art projects-- including peace murals in Cyprus and Northern Ireland, child welfare murals in Bolivia and Panama, AIDS murals in Geneva and South Africa, and eco-art installations on Miami Beach and Antarctica. In 2008, as a New York Foundation for the Arts sponsored artist, he'll bring his art installations to the North Pole.

Xavier
Cortada's work has been shown across the Americas, Europe, Africa and
Antarctica and locally in the Miami Art Museum, the Miami Museum of
Science & Planetarium and the Bass Museum of Art. The Miami artist has
been commissioned to create art for the White House, the Florida Supreme
Court, Miami City Hall, the Museum of Florida History and the Amundsen-Scott
South Pole Station.
Cortada's work is also in the permanent collection of The World Bank.
