Xavier Cortada for Circuit Judge

CIRCUIT JUDGE (GROUP 46)

Xavier Cortada is running for Circuit Judge (11th Judicial Circuit of Florida) in Group 046, the open seat created by the retirement of Judge Steven D. Robinson from Juvenile Court.  He was the first to file and the first to qualify in that race.  The non-partisan, countywide election is on September 10, 2002.

To vote for Xavier Cortada, please punch number 109 when you get to the polls.

Cortada: "First to File" in Group 46 As of March 22, 2002, Xavier Cortada was the first and only candidate running for Circuit Judge in Group 046 (click here to see the list of all 2002 election candidates for Circuit Judge who had filed as of then). Note: Since Cortada's filing, other candidates have filed to run in Group 46-- many of those may opt to run in other seats.  They have up and until the end of qualifying at noon on May 17, 2002 to make their decision.

Cortada: "First to Qualify" Xavier Cortada was the first judicial candidate to qualify to run in Group 046.  As of May 13th, 2002, he was the only one running in that seat (click here to see list of those who had qualified to run for Circuit Judge in Miami-Dade County as of then).  Note: Although Cortada was the first candidate to qualify to run in Group 46, three others decided to run against him.   All four will face each other in the September 10th election.
